The Roman philosopher Seneca is alleged to have said that "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." Since I've never read Seneca in any form that I know of, and since his wording is somewhat different, I still claim original authorship even if the sentiment is the same. Smart guy that Seneca, and I'm proud to share similar thoughts with him. :-) Regarding my second assertion that there are people who walk right by opportunity without recognizing it, and others who will not take the risk of picking up opportunity and running with it, I find no Google hits at all. Therefore your claim that I plagiarized Forbe's seems to be totally without merit and may rise to the level of defamation of character. Of course we've come to expect nothing less from you. |

I didn't claim you plagiarized Forbes. Forbes prints lots of aphorisms on its quotes page ...and the aphorism you cited has been repeated many times throughout the ages, is popular, and surely has been put on the Forbes aphorism page, probably more than once. That's why I mentioned the magazine. Have fun: https://www.forbes.com/2009/08/13/ap...l#2caf23f938a7 |

Too bad you seem to have had trouble following their advice. They have a paid financial advisory service called "Forbes Special Situation Survey" which I highly recommend: https://www.forbes.com/newsletters/sss/ I've found it to be well worth the cost. |

Did Jesus bring that thought to earth? You mean, Jesus was born off planet? I thought that whole story was something a single young girl who got pregnant made up to avoid embarrassment. :) Is not refer to Jesus as off earth. Just the thought. Maybe the thought was just in the air. |
