Your lack of computer savvy is showing now. If I don't want Tim or any
other Google Groups guy to see my post, I just turn on the "no
archive" bit. I guess you were not paying attention when that was
discussed here.

I don?t pay any attention to the ?standards? for google groups.

Or much else technical. Google Groups is archival, by it's very
nature, like anything Google ever sniffs. They do respect the no
archive bit, although it wasn't always so. The result is they know
they can't forget so they don't admit to reading it at all. (I bet
they still mine the data).

My "technical interests" for the most part do not coincide with yours. I
have absolutely no interest in Google Groups. I think as a usenet
client, as it were, it is for ****.

Forward this post to your buddy in the back woods of nova scotia.
I'd do it but it seems that I have him filtered so that he
doesn't see my posts. Or so he says.

I have an acquaintance who lives in California. She's *very* liberal in
her views which is to be expected, I guess.

She has recently announced that after living in the USA for the last 60+
years, she and her husband are moving to Australia next month to get
away from the USA's "crazy" obsession with guns. Like other liberals,
she has often advocated that the USA adopt the 1997 policy of a buy back
program following the mass shooting in Port Arthur, Australia.

She ignores some real data though. First, Australia does not have
anything like a 2nd Amendment in it's constitution. Gun rights are
controlled by the "states" rather than the federal government. Secondly,
there are more privately owned firearms in Australia today than there
were before 1996. The million guns destroyed after Port Arthur have been
replaced with 1,026,000 new ones.

But, I agree with her about one thing. The culture is different there.
Guns are primarily used for hunting and there's no obsession with copies
of military style semi-automatics.

"Very liberal." Love it. It is the "liberal states" where the atmosphere
is most conducive to innovation technology.

Didn't you make your fortune via innovation technology?

Just about every assessment I've seen says that the leading technology
states in terms of innovation technology and percentages of workers
employed in innovation technology are Massachusetts, California, New
York, and Connecticut.

You think there is a connection between liberal politics and innovation
technology? You think SpaceX is headquartered in California by accident?

I wonder how successful you might have been, business technology wise,
had you started up when you did in Mississippi, South Carolina, or Florida.

Illinois, one of the bluest states of them all would have loved to have
had Richards company so they could suck him dry of taxes and still be
broke with nothing to show for it.

Illinois has you, an obvious failure of public education. ??

Wow. Harry sure woke up this morning with a hair across his ass.
Either that or his 'roids are acting up.

Richard, it's interesting how he wrote that and hid it from me. I'd not
known it was there till you replied to it...

What a joke...

What are you imbibing? I know of no way to "hide" a post of mine from
someone else reading usenet groups. Maybe it isn't a joke that education
failed you, or maybe this communication medium is just too complex for you

Harry, go to google groups and see if your snide little snippet actually
shows up there, that is unless Richard posted it (which he did) it obviously won't appear.

Of course my public education failed me. I live in down state Illinois
which is below Chicago, and Chicago is also below Detroit. You said
Liberals started public education? Well, there's your socialist trickle down for you Harry.

I don?t use google groups. It sucks. I suspect therein lies your problem
with my post.

Odd, first you blame a failure on my public education which you say was founded by liberals, then you blame google groups which you say you don't pay attention to. wow...

It's probably some of both. Google Groups as a usenet posting facility
pretty much sucks. That has been reported here and many other places any
number of times. It's been pointed out to you and to Don, who also uses
Google Groups. There are many annoying issues with it. I will not get
into them here. If you couldn't find a particular post of mine, it isn't
likely the problem is with my usenet client. I've been using the same
one for decades and I don't change the settings. I also haven't changed
the usenet client I use on my cell or my iPad.

It is correct that I do not use Google Groups, and it is also true I
have no interest in using it. I will be delighted, however, to point out
on occasion the "confusion" that results from your posting via Google
Groups. The most common problem is lack of context, though there are
formatting issues, too.

YOU HEAR THAT, LITTLE DONNIE?

You owe me a keyboard!!!

LMAO!

The more Fat Harry writes less bull**** Fat Harry keeps bottled
up. Do you suppose his therapist is making him do
it?

The less Fat Harry keeps bottled up, the more pounds of Fat Harry go down the toilet. Perhaps
there's a weight-reduction method to his madness.

I'll bet he lost five pounds yesterday alone!

Keyboards are cheap. The laughs are worth it.
