Looks Like Churches Need To Be Armed
Pastors should give sermons on the need for AR15's. And don't forget to bring your bump stock on Sunday. That's the ticket. |

A few concealed weapons may have come in right handy. Good idea. I saw an interview with the pastor of another church not far from the one that experienced this horrible incident. His church is larger and he acknowledged that they have armed (concealed carry) parishioners, a practice he encourages. |

Gun nuts always try to find a silver lining. Operation a success. 25 patients dead. Do you actually read the **** you post for content? You were trying to make a joke about those 25 dead people and when I pointed out that it was an armed citizen who stopped these guys you gave us a brain fart worthy of Harry. If the neighbor who saw him outside shooting, had a rifle and shot this prick before he went inside (instead of hiding in his bathroom) we may not have had any innocent victims at all. |

Firing a high powered rifle around structures and other people can be risky no matter where you are. You certainly need to be aware of your backstop but in Florida and most states with a reasonable law you are allowed to use deadly force to stop someone who posses the danger of causing imminent bodily harm to another and a guy in tactical gear shooting into a building would qualify. In fact the guy who did shoot this prick did it with a rifle and managed to get through his body armor. My .308 would have no problem at all with soft body armor. |

I wasn't joking. The Texas AG has called for arming parishioners. Bet he would get your vote. If the neighbor who saw him outside shooting, had a rifle and shot this prick before he went inside (instead of hiding in his bathroom) we may not have had any innocent victims at all. Only a gun nut could imagine himself as all-seeing and ever-vigilant enough to stop the other gun nuts. Hey, isn't it time for you to invest in gun stocks? These mass shootings are good for the market. BTW, I don't care if church people arm themselves. But IMO, it'll do more harm than good. The reason these cowards pick "soft targets" is because they figure nobody is going to shoot back. Unlike ISIS type terrorists with visions of 72 virgins, they don't necessarily plan to be killed. Both the Las Vegas shooter and this Texas shooter planned to escape unharmed. Maybe if they thought someone was armed and prepared to shoot back they might have a change of heart. |

And they are known to be armed by the pastor. |
