I am spending a lot more time there. I found the History Channel links
and they have most of the stuff from before that became the reality
show channel telling us more than we want to know about pawn shops,
crabbers and ice road truckers.

You can also find just about anything you want in music, and the audio
quality is usually much better than some of the other music venues
like Pandora.

I'm not really a fan of Pandora.
For music I enjoy http://groovesharks.org myself.

Or https://www.3wk.com

I'm sure the latter is better if you sign up for it

Now I realize that nobody here would ever even *think* of ripping a
video and/or audio from a Youtube however those who do often use this:

offliberty.com

You copy the Youtube URL and then paste it in the field on the
offliberty page. It then gives you the option to copy both the video
and audio or just the audio. I think most people just copy the audio
from music videos for their personal files. Little whirl and buzz and
out pops your copy that you can transfer to a folder or playlist.

Of course, *I'd* never do this. :-)

Well damn! I haven't used offliberty in quite a while. I just tried
it and apparently it won't rip youtube stuff anymore. Used to be great
but no longer it seems.

Of course not. But in what format is the audio copied? Is there anything illegal about copying a You
Tube video?

Speaking of enjoyable videos, here's one:

Seen these folks perform at Wolftrap a couple times. Fun to watch if they'er ever in your
neighborhood.
