Speaking of John. How is your foot feeling today, good buddy?

Not too bad. I needed the pain pill only once, so things are looking up. Probably the hardest part
of the whole thing is having to bathe at the kitchen sink. Too scared to try to get in the tub and
can't get the bad leg wet. I think if I ever got down in the damn tub, I'd never be able to get out!

Thanks for asking!

They sell a condom thing for legs and arms. I will see if the one the wife
had for her leg surgery is here for a name.

How long before the incisions heal enough to get wet? That would make
me nuts.
Get well my friend.

No, don't need one. I'll be out of all the wrapping by next Monday. Back in the boot. Then I'll be
able to get it wet.

It stays wrapped until 9 Oct. That's the post-surgery follow-up, when I assume he'll remove the
stitches. Not sure what he'll put me in then. I'm hoping it's the boot just so I can take it off
every so often. All this wrapping is a pain in the butt. Plus it's got one of these keeping
everything cold:

Saves a lot of trips to the freezer getting ice bags.

That would be my answer also. As long as the stitches are in they
provide a pathway for infectious bacteria to enter.

But duct tape will hurt being removed.
