Went out on a boat today. The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing. Very
well maintained boat. I have probably ridden it for 20 years of fishing.
Asked and the boat is 52 years old. Extremely well maintained. We were
fishing Yellowfin tuna today. Had forgot my passport and the Coronado
Island trips require Passport. But the offshore tuna fishing broke open,
so non passport trips were offered. I landed 4 fish, probably to 25
pounds. Lost a couple. Limit is 5. Fish Mexican waters, probably the
most we were South of SD was 35 miles. Rain early this morning, but turned
in to a nice day, fair seas. Am going to test drive the Hobie I11s
inflatable kayak tomorrow. Too hard to get the Outback on top of a 9' RV
roof.

Cool...was this an overnighter or a day trip?

It was a fishing boat, dummy.

Apparently you are not aware there are large boats in the San Diego area
that provide overnight accommodations for fishing trips that can last
many days, including the boat Bill went out on, the "San Diego." In
addition, some of the boats in the fleet go out on day trips. Thus, was
the fishing trip an overnighter or a day trip.
