leaking tank in 26.5 bayliner ciera
 
I am pulling the tank in my 99 bayliner ciera its only 7 years old the previous owners replaced last time. I am going to try to take it out threw the cabin.Can anyone tell me what they feel about a plastic tank vs.a aluminum tank?

Look at all the new cars and trucks. Plastic tanks.

Plastic would be a good option, especially with today's ethanol blends tending to be a bit corrosive. Mohler makes excellent plastic tanks but maybe not for your application. There's plastics out there that are a replacement for yours though...
