for the downtown bars and taverns. Seems like those American
sailors love tasting real beer for a change. ;-)
Almost a bit scary though...this year is the 100th Anniversary of
the Halifax Explosion, which is considered the largest man made
explosion before the atomic bomb that killed or injured almost a
quarter of the city's population while devastating most of the
north end of the city.
One can only shudder to think what would happen if a nuke carrier
had an accident in the harbour.
