Hi,
Old hands in this group may remember the Trampofoil of the late 1990s. The Trampofoil-guys have a new project going that might be of interest: http://www.trampofoil.com/speedsailing/ Cheers, -- ================================================== ====================== Martin Schöön "Problems worthy of attack prove their worth by hitting back" Piet Hein ================================================== ====================== |

The "50 knot barrier" has proven to be quite a barrier hasn't it? Thanks for posting this interesting link. It would be nice if they had a plan of their vessel on the web site, they mention a paravane but no clear pictures of how the whole system works. Also they did not mention what speeds they were achieving in 5m/s winds. Fresh Breezes- Doug King |
