I think the lengthy opinions on one side or another will come in the
fall, by which time it might be moot. I don't know anyone who expected
it to survive in its entirety with another right-winger on the court.

The court lifted the injunctions from the 9th and 4th circuits in
cases where the immigrant dies not have a "bona fide relationship with
a person or entity in the US" but did not make a formal ruling on the
whole issue of constitutionality the OEs. That will come in the next
session. Since the EO will be history by then (hence Harry's "moot"
comment) the upcoming opinion will only affect future OEs or
legislation.
