Sure would be interesting to discover what the hell the North Koreans
subjected this poor guy to. The excuse of botulism by the NK's has been
debunked.

It's really strange though. The US docs who examined him say they found
no evidence of trauma to his head or body.

I am thinking more like some drugs that can no longer be detected.

Yes. The docs described the brain cell damage as being typical of
respiratory failure which can be the result of "intoxication". They
didn't describe that further but respiratory failure is the cause of
death in alcoholics who sometimes drink to the point of alcoholic poisoning.

Yes. The docs described the brain cell damage as being typical of
respiratory failure which can be the result of "intoxication". They
didn't describe that further but respiratory failure is the cause of
death in alcoholics who sometimes drink to the point of alcoholic poisoning.

Have they done a full autopsy or is all of this based on examining him
before he died?

He just died today I think, so I doubt they would have an autopsy report
already. The doctor comments were based on CT scans, etc. that they did
following his release from NK.

He just died today I think, so I doubt they would have an autopsy report

I guess now we have 2 mysteries we are waiting for an answer to.
