Is George Washington next?
 

We have been taking down confederate leaders, will George be next?
He was a slave owner who was the driving force for the loopholes in
the law that exempts presidents from conflict of interest charges.
George used federal troops to suppress his competition in the liquor
business among other things. He was the largest distiller of spirits
at the time of the Whiskey Rebellion and he built this empire on the
backs of slaves.
Compared to George, Robert E Lee was a saint. Lee's only contact with
slavery was through his wife, Martha Washington's great grand
daughter, Mary Custis. Her slaves were probably descendants of
George's slaves. There is even correspondence between Lee and his wife
where he tells her he thinks slavery is "evil".

Maybe we should move the Washington Monument to Mount Vernon and take
George off the money.
Of course the names of the nations capital, the state and all of those
counties will have to change.
Then we can start on Thomas Jefferson.
