Looks like the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and at least some of her escort group will be visiting Halifax at the end of the month.
It's been a while since a Nimitz class carrier came here...I think the last might have been the John C Stennis. Guess we'd better beef up the Shore Patrol.

I think you will be visited by the Tall Ships group in July also.
They are in Boston, MA this weekend.

So you are implying that there is a huge gay population in Halifax
awaiting the arrival of an aircraft carrier hoping that a large majority
of the crew is gay and looking for a one-nighter with a Canadian?

The Tattoo performers usually put on a nice parade outside, I suppose to boost interest in the indoor show.
I liked the show when it was almost all military. We'd even get your Marine Drill Team and assorted bands. I do see your fleet band will play at this years show. Nowadays there seems to be a bit too much civilian talent on display. Our government cut back our military contribution quite a while back.
