Why not, You can see Canada from Alaska. ;-)
In fact you pretty much have to go through Canada to get to Juneau.

What an insult to Canada that would be. :)

I imagine she gets along well with the folks in the wilderness areas
of the west. Maybe not so much in Toronto or the French part tho.

8 years in DC didn't change her much.

As long as she can speak french she'll do fine

Most of Canada does not speak French.
My IBM Toronto friend says "The US got the blacks (not his word) and
we got the French.
You people always get the first choice". He was also quick to point
out all Canadians do not say "Ay", even though it slipped out a few
times from him too. It does seem to be an Ontario thing tho. The folks
we know from the west don't say Ay.

The folks in the west say crook and idiot when referring to Ontario.

It shows that Donald Trump thinks highly of Canada.

And well he should. Were it not for Canada you couldn't tow your
rv to Alaska.Would be nice , though, if you were allowed to arm
yourself and protect your family from those highway robbers
along the way.

Hadn't heard about those guys. I'd like to try the trip sometime, but I'd either have to move or
install a sprinkler system for the yard. I think I may be getting my wife into the moving frame of
mind next year. We'll see.

Trust me, sprinkler systems are much cheaper than moving and a lot
less hassle.

I may have a couple estimates done. Can't hurt I suppose.

There is a machine that cuts a slit, lays the pipe in and covers it
all in one pass. That makes the pipe part easy. It might not work up
there if you have the same "bank run gravel" type soil we had on the
PG side of the river tho.
How do you keep it from freezing?

I have air fittings in the valve supply lines. In the fall I turn off
the water supply, hook up an air compressor, and let the sprinkler
system controller cycle compressed air through each zone for a few
minutes each.
