Kraft's ring
 

Saw Robert Kraft being interviewed today. Subject came up about his
famous meeting with Vladimir Putin in Russia back in 2005.

Kraft showed his Superbowl ring to Putin who took it and looked at it.
When Kraft held his hand out to retrieve it, Putin put it in his pocket,
and "three KGB guys got around him and walked out."

It has never been returned.

At the time the White House requested that Kraft just say it was given
to Putin as a gift to avoid an international incident. Kraft cooperated
by not making a scene about it but he really would like to have that
ring back because it has his name on it and has sentimental value to him.

Today he said that if the Pats win this evening, he'll have another ring
made with Putin's name on it and offer a trade.
