Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine for President and Vice President

Chris Van Hollen for U.S. Senator to replace the retiring Barbara Mikulski.

Steny H. Hoyer for U.S. Representative

The Republicans had candidates running for U.S. Senator and U.S.
Representative. I never heard or read about either of them, though I did
see yard signs for the GOP U.S. Senate candidate.

Why would the GOP waste money even running a candidate in Maryland?
All of the republicans moved away decades ago leaving a vacuum filled
by democrats from the Massachusetts to New York area. We got tired of
high taxes, crime and oppressive government overreach so we bailed.

How could you know? No intellectual curiosity? Just more an indication of how your particular part of the country suppresses any opposition.

I'm sure your voting efforts were minimal. Just select Democrat under the "Vote straight ticket" part of the ballot.

Gee, the GOP should have consulted you before the last gubernatorial

Uh, no, that's not correct. Several of the guys here I befriended were
driven off by the right-wing wackos, including several boat dealers. I

The SCOTUS may not even be able to bail us out being 4/4.

Will the democrats actually acknowledge they lost if this does go to

We had one race here that the democrat got ZERO votes. I can't believe

One of the talking heard gave the best excuse for voting a 3d party I
ever heard. If you leave a ballot "blank" someone can mark it later.
There have been people caught this year doing that on both sides.
We may actually go looking for some voter fraud if Hillary loses and
that is what they do in the next 2 months. I guess trying to throw
Hillary in jail has lost some of it's luster if she is wiping servers
with a rag in Chappaqua.
I suppose she could go after Gillibrand's seat in 18 but Kristin may
not go quietly.

Nope. It's now 1am and I am as shocked as you probably are at the
results so far. Seems Trump is well on his way to becoming POTUS.

Despite my dislike of Hillary I was certain that given the $$ and
campaign organization she had that it would be close to a landslide for
her. I was as wrong as most of the media and pollsters were.

My wife called it though. She grew to like Trump (being much more
conservative than I). We have had many discussions about this election
and I've repeatedly told her that Trump would lose badly. Looks like
I'll be eating crow for dinner tomorrow.

I was not and am still not a supporter of Trump. This election is
unprecedented.

Scary huh?

Tell me, was Gary really that bad?

Well, they *did* vote to legalize recreational pot here in MA. :-)

As one who supports a third party (socialist/labour), I agree with you.
The two main parties have to be reminded that they don't have a God given right to govern.

What's God got to do with it, other than he answerd my prayers?
