The trouble with a barge crane is that the fine for damaging those mangroves will probably exceed the value of the boats. .... I was thinking something in that order. May be cheaper to salvage what you can and scrap the rest... |

I just looked and that is right up near you in the St Augustine area. |

Just poking around Google Earth and looking at the mangroves, needle grass etc, my guess is right across from river's edge marina, maybe Oasis around the corner. I suppose someone not as salty as you may have stuffed them up in the bushes somewhere else and they got loose. |

Big chopper? I think there is a military chopper that can pick up ~20 tons but I am not sure that is enough. What does a boat like that weigh? The old Chinook could pick up 12 tons or so. |

Gosh. |

On the outside implies the Atlantic Ocean, ****-for-brains. Also spent a lot of time, and I mean a lot of time, on the "inside" in boats fishing St. Augustine Inlet, Matanzas Inlet, the areas between, and the ICW between Matanzas and the Jax jetties at Mayport. I also fished the exact location where W'hine anchored for the night and just a little south of there at the seaplane landing pond. The St. Augustine area is one of the best places along Florida's NE Coast for fishing. |

Why is it so disconcerting to you when we talk about a person who is actually boating? |
