Here's what I have on the Mille GT:
http://www.nationalcycle.com/n8863-01.html Headlight Cutout to Top of Screen: 20.50" (52.0cm) Width: 31.50" (80.3cm) This is a smaller version that I had on the V50: http://www.nationalcycle.com/n8332-01.html Headlight Cutout to Top of Screen: 20.00" (50.5cm) Width: 29.50" (75.5cm) The difference in height isn't much, but the extra half inch was needed in my case. |

Good deal. Though mine is a stock windshield, it'll still give you a good wind buffeting. However it does a good job keeps keeping you from being pelted by bugs.
But would also be nice to have some hand protection as well. I'll check them out John. Thanks... |

The one I've got, the Plexifairing 3, has got some nice scratches in it from the spill, and I'm thinking of trying the smaller one. I've not tried it on my bike, thinking it was too small, but there is a lot of room to slide the mounting brackets up the fork tubes. Trouble is, I don't know if they'd take it back if it was too small. |

On facebooks Mignoc there was a guy that did a beautiful job making skirt deflectors for his guzzi. I ought to take advantage of the search option on that page and re-study his plans. He spells out how he made them in fairly good detail using cheap hardware too...

I'd have to pay the return shipping though. He also said I could save a bit of money 'cause much of the hardware I already had would work with the new fairing. |
