are making a run for it. Conditions on the ocean are good right now
and are expected to stay that way for the next couple of days.

How far off shore do you usually travel, Wayne?

===

It depends, sometimes as much as 120 nautical miles, usually less
however. Right now we're about 15 NM off the coast of Brunswick, GA.

I see you are still in North Florida. I am surprised you did not make
a run for the Okeechobee waterway. This thing looks like it will just
be an east coast thing.
They are saying you will have a Cat 3 offshore in Jax on Thursday

We're leaving on Wednesday morning for a place called Murphy's Creek
in the far southern St John's River. It's well inland and well
protected. Stay tuned.

Be safe buddy. If the forecast holds they are calling for gusts and a
lot of rain here, a lot better than a hurricane.
The cone may make this a very expensive storm, skipping along the
Atlantic coast all the way from West Palm Beach to Nags Head and then
it might keep going up to Delmarva and New York/New England
