That thing is 43 feet longer than the coast guard cutter I was on in
the North Atlantic ... but we were better armed ;-)
(5"-38, rack of hedge hogs and 6 autonomous ASW torpedoes plus an
assortment of small arms including 6 M2s)

A boat like that would typically have a tender more like this:

I saw a guy with a 24' Bennington pontoon swinging on davits behind
his "big boat" in the New River.

I used to see his boat once in a while when I worked in NYC. If I
remember correctly it was one of the first I ever saw with a helipad.

Harley dealers are not what they used to be. I remember when a Harley
dealer sold more parts than clothes.

Fortunately you could get them at a well stocked feed store.

Increasingly popular with the megayacht crowd is to tow a good sized
center console about 100 yards back. They use hi-tech tow line that
floats and is stronger than steel, and the center console will be
outfitted with a large stainless steel towing strap on the bow just
above the waterline.

I assume you mean from davits? Only the very biggest could do that. A
center console in the 30 ft range with a T-top and 2 or 3 large obies
takes up quite a bit of space. Towing doesn't seem to be a problem
for them since they have professional crew available to take care of
the details. They put a crew member aboard for entering and leaving
harbors.
