You are saying the free market can stop over 4000 years of religious bigotry against gays, then you say it would have been useless against a 300 year slave tradition that was at it's base a market driven institution. As soon as slavery was not economically viable, it would go away pretty fast. But Harry is from New Haven, where slavery made people fortunes. |
