Oh, the pain...
In the swing states that matter most in the presidential race, Donald
Trump doesn’t have a prayer against Hillary Clinton in the general election. That’s according to top operatives, strategists and activists in 10 battleground states who participated in this week’s POLITICO Caucus. Nearly 90 percent of them said Clinton would defeat Trump in their home states in a November match-up. Republicans are only slightly more bullish on Trump’s prospects than Democrats: More than three-quarters of GOP insiders expect Clinton to best the Republican front-runner in a general-election contest in their respective states. Among Democrats, the belief is nearly universal: 99 percent of surveyed said will Clinton will beat Trump. In three of the biggest swing states—Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida—Republicans were particularly downbeat about the prospect of a Trump-Clinton contest. “There is positively no way for Trump to win in Pennsylvania,” said a Republican from that state. “Trump cannot and will not carry Ohio,” a Republican from that state insisted. “He will do well in Appalachia and in the Mahoning Valley but he will get killed in the rest of the state. The danger for the GOP is losing Rob Portman which is a very real possibility under this match-up.” Added a Florida Republican, who like all participants was granted anonymity in order to speak freely, “Trump is grinding the GOP to a stub. He couldn't find enough xenophobic, angry white Floridians to beat Hillary in Florida if he tried.” Read mo http://www.politico.com/story/2016/0...#ixzz47ElUuQJ9 But...he could find a few xenophobic, angry white Floridians right here in wrecked.bloats... |

The short answer is the Libertarians are the "Mind your own business" party. |

The short answer is the Libertarians are the "Mind your own business" party. More like, "I've got mine, **** you" party...They're just Republicans who give less of a **** about anything than...Republicans. At a certain point, why is it the government's business? The government is the least efficient and most incompetent way of doing many things that they are tasked with. TSA is an excellent example but there are plenty. You people always say libertarians would want to stop inspecting meat and other similar functions but again, that is not what anyone says, they just question if government inspection is the best way. Based on the number of cases of contamination, it is clear they are not doing the best job. I won't dwell on education (the most expensive government program) but it is clear the whole government school model in this country is broken. We pay more money than any other country for schools and have results down around 26th to 30th in outcomes depending on who's study you believe. Most of that money is gobbled up in the bureaucracy and only about 40% trickles down to the teachers and the students. |
