My "new" one...
Had some work done, then I put it in a new Boyd's stock. Marlin 917V in .17 HMR. Sighting the scope in at 50 yards, it put four in under a dime without really trying. Sweet shooter.

I love laminated stocks - I have a few but they are more of a gray/black. It's a shame so many companies are pushing composite stocks now. I'm going to look into Boyd's. |

Their website said minor mods may be required, Everything on mine dropped right in, there was no trimming or sanding required, perfect fit. I'm happy with their product. They had 6-7 different choices of color, and will do custom wood stocks too. |
