Too cold for golf.
Monday was great. Temps in the 30's, no wind, early end to the frost delay - a great way to get in about 5 miles of walking. But, temp of 22, and winds of 10-12mph does not make for great golf. Besides, the course is closed due to frost delay...probably until noon. -- Ban idiots, not guns! |

Well, you could always load up your pistols and then clean them. Given your latest rants, if I were you I'd go talk to my wife before you do what you're suggesting above. You've got a problem, Harry. I was in Endicott (NY) in October of 79 working at the support center and I thought a bright sunny day in the 60s would be great golf at the IBM course. After what I thought was a great tee shot on #1, I walked up over the hill and found my ball was somewhere in a snow covered fairway. The south side of the hill was green, the north side white. I went back to the car. |

If the course is open, then there is enough un-snow-covered ground to have a decent round. -- Ban idiots, not guns! It's great that you play when it is in the 30's and I suppose upper 20's...that way, when you fall over and die from a heart attack or hypothermia, the cold will preserve your body. Get out and do some walking. I always end up taking off garments that I started with. It *is* nice to see you can make a post without name-calling. Although, it does seem as if you're a bit over-focused on my death. -- Ban idiots, not guns! |

When the ball is buried in the snow, the color makes no difference. One must find the hole and stick a hand in it. And, pray it's not a snake hole! -- Ban idiots, not guns! |

It certainly made me reject the SPR job they were trolling in front of me. I did it for 3 months of a 6 month TA and I called my office and told me to get me outta there. Next trip was Tucson for a look see ;-) Didn't take that job either |
