Watching the news right now. It appears three people were involved in
the shootings and killings in San Bernardino. Two have been captured,
the third was killed by police according to latest media statement.

This can't be the action of a nutcase gone wacko. All three would have
to be deranged in the same manner which isn't likely. Strange.

Just heard on the news that one of the suspects in custody has an arabic name. Is this domestic terrorism or international terrorism. Hopefully the investigation will provide those details.

You must have a specific reason to be issued a concealed carry permit
and it's considered a "may issue" decision by the issuing authority.

A permit to own a handgun for home defense or target practice is
different. It's considered a "Class B" permit (rather than a Class A)
and it is a "shall issue" regulation ... again subject to a background
check. The Class B permit does not allow concealed carry and the
transportation of the gun to a range or whatever must include it being
unloaded and in a locked container in your vehicle.

As I stated at the time and several times since, my lawyer handled most
of the task for me. You know, Greg, lawyer...in this case, a guy who
went to college and went to law school, those activities you've many
times here have stated are not worth it.

concealed carry permit was once very difficult but, due to towns

unloaded and in a locked container in your vehicle.


Florida has a "two move" law. A loaded gun has to be two moves away
from the driver. In a case or even a retention holster in the glove
compartment works. (without the CCW)


As I stated at the time and several times since, my lawyer handled most
of the task for me. You know, Greg, lawyer...in this case, a guy who
went to college and went to law school, those activities you've many
times here have stated are not worth it.

Why would you possibly need a lawyer to get a gun permit?

I know all about lawyers, my son in law is one (along with a BS in
coastal science and an MS in the same general thing). I figure he will
pay off his student loans in about 2045 assuming Hillary or Bernie

It's important to know when to use the services of a consultant. Even
you could get a driver's license up here on your own, but, apparently,
not a carry permit.

Apparently your lawyer thought you needed his consulting services and
you agreed. As others have stated here, a typical asshole can't get a
carry permit in MD., without extenuating circumstances and a lawyer's
