Here the sunset is at 4:30 CST. And getting cloudy. Fall weather isn't that fun in southern Illinois. Too dark too early.

It's 81F here now...I wish it would go away. I enjoy fall weather.

Here the sun sets at 1700 hrs AST (when we see it) and although we got up to around 60F today, we've been averaging around the middle forties or as high as 50 the last week or so.

Our weather guys are all atwitter about the long "indian summer" but
they warn, that it could change quickly if the jet stream shifts a
little. I am enjoying it while it lasts.
I like it warm, that is why I am here. A midnight dip in the pool is
great.

A calm 49 now with a high of 61and sunny. Time to head for the woods. Got a lot of dead logs to gather and process into firewood....

No dead logs...the propane delivery tanker stopped off this week to top
us off at 400 gallons, some of which are used to run the fireplaces. :)

The rest runs the generator that keeps your CPAP machine and you running.

Cold last night. But I am at the ocean. Was supposed to be the crab
opener, but toxins due to warm water and algae blooms, so season postponed.
Still a big party, and launching after breakfast. Probably 70 during the
day. Rain tomorrow.

I don't burn wood either. I give it to people in need to help heat their homes...

You want heat in the winter up here, you contribute to global warming.
