Yet another reason...

....not to vote for Republicans:

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee indicated Thursday that
if elected, he wouldn’t rule out employing federal troops or the Federal
Bureau of Investigation to stop abortion from taking place in the United
States.

Though the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against bans on abortion, Huckabee
said past presidents have defied Supreme Court rulings.

Most of the mooks who want the GOP 2016 presidential nomination believe
in the same sort of anti-abortion bull**** as Hucksterbee, but probably
won't say what he said...publicly.

Fundamentalist christianity and the GOP...a match made in hell.

There you go again. Big broad brush. I'd say it's a reason not to
support or vote for Huckabee but what makes you think *all* Republicans
would agree with him? In fact, you said "most" with regard to being
anti-abortion which means not all.

Sometimes I think it would be easier to be a card carrying liberal
Democrat like you. No thinking required ... just support the standard
DNC party line. Doesn't really matter who gets the nomination.

As far as I can determine, *every single one* of the GOP 2016 POTUS
wannabes is anti-abortion and if elected would do everything within his
power to further restrict abortion rights. That includes Trump, who used
to be "pro-choice," but flip-flopped when he decided to make a run for
the nomination. Whether *all* Republicans are anti-choice is not
relevant...what is relevant is that all the 2016 POTUS wannabes are, and
so are virtually all the GOP members of Congress.

Therefore, I could not vote for any of the GOP 2016 POTUS wannabes. I
have additional reasons, but that one is sufficient.
