It's what you demonstrated (again) in your second paragraph (above).
You have no respect for any beliefs or opinions that are at odds with

You become very critical of anyone who doesn't see things your way.

No one is out to simply "**** over" anyone. What's the purpose in
doing that? The arguments in Congress is mostly over budgets,
economics, and, in social issues like immigration, the adherence to
established laws.

You may not agree with most of the GOP thinking

Thankfully not all liberal Democrats think or behave in that manner.

You're absolutely right of course but it's important to remember that

Try just poking him with a stick. it's much more effective than letting

Harry, you really have become an ass. It's a shame. You once had a
working brain.

Right, because we shouldn't castigate, for example, the "religious" who
handle venomous snakes as part of their ritual, get bitten, and die.
Right on.

Did a little reading on snake handling rituals.

First of all, it is entirely voluntary. Only a small percentage of
parishioners participate and only a few churches even practice the
ritual. Children are not allowed to participate.

Snakes have had a major significance in many religions, countries and
cultures dating back to ancient times. The modern day Pentecostals may
be looney, but it's their right to worship and practice what they want.
Nobody is "jamming it down your throat" or forcing you to participate.
Even those who belong to one of the few churches that practice the
ritual are not "forced" to do so.

Approximately 71 people have died due to snake bites since the snake
handling ritual began in 1922. That's less than one person a year. In
2013, 89 people *a day* were killed in automobile accidents.

Gotta love these specious comparisons... :)

You are the one who is concerned about people participating in this
ritual getting bit and dying. I was simply trying to put the number of
deaths in perspective. Remember also ... these people are not "forced"
by their religion to dance around with snakes. The practice is
completely voluntary and, it turns out, is practiced by a very few of
the congregation.

How your initial statement relates to your oft repeated complaint about
religious organizations trying to shove their beliefs down your throat
is beyond me. Did someone show up at your front door recently holding
a rattler asking you if you wanted to kiss it?
