Perhaps your manuals take that into account. I have a Honda 20 hp 4 stroke on our dinghy that is a pretty good engine in most respects. That said, I always make sure to run the carburetor dry if I'm not going to be using it for any length of time. Doing otherwise invites trouble. I've also installed a big Racor fuel filter to catch any crud which develops in the tanks. |
