Supposed to be around 80F today with just a touch of wind. You should leave the laptop at home and head for Florida. Be a nice ride, and you have no problem doing a couple hundred miles a day. Sorry, Johnnymop, but I didn't trade my boat in on a tin travel trailer. And a run of 100+ miles in a day down the Bay to the Virginia Beach area on a good day is not unreasonable at 20+ knots. Cept you haven't been gone long enough to make that trip and stop for lunch, today. Use a little more care when you put your stories together. === Yes, our friend of imaginary boat fame is back imagining things again. All this from a guy who couldn't afford to run a Parker 24 with a single outboard. Fortunately he was able to sell it for more than he paid thanks to his brilliant maintenance, and roll the proceeds over into some sort of small, low transom Parker. Of course the LT Parker proved to be a bit too small for the type of imaginary boating he really wanted to do, so now he's back to playing with his rubber ducky in the bath tub. What a loser. That, too! |
