Looks like (if I get his payment) I have a local (in-state) buyer for my
Ruger GP100 at $529. We'll see. I had several bids at the $500 level.
One of you *bozos* could have purchased this fine revolver for $50 to
$75 less. Your bad. :)

Frankly I can't imagine why I'd want a gun like that.

Harry fills Bozo's Bin with the folks who may have been interested. Wonder if he
knows how much interest he generated?

Looking forward to the review of your new 686. That's the one I'm
interested in.

Hey I offered you $151.50 ;-)

Take a look at the buy now price for a BRAND NEW ONE. Harry got a very
good price for the one he mutilated.

And for that, I told you I'd let you sniff the barrel. Actually, taking
into account the buyer, I sweetened the deal, cut the price a bit,
tossed in another grip and a set of sight and sight lights, a
speedloader and a box of factory ammo.

Looks like I'll have the new S&W in my hands in about two weeks. I got
the only "six shooter" the local dealer picked up from another dealer in
Vegas...the others are "seven shooters." A "seven shooter" is a concept
that for some reason I just don't like. So, it is a Model 686-164222
with a 4" barrel. Hell, I wasn't even thinking of this until the dealer
called and asked me if I wanted it. :)

Yup there are several dealers on the net selling them for $529 NIB and
used ones are in the $335-360 range.

Unless you find one at an in-state dealer's for $529, you are typically
looking at an additional $75 to $100 for FFL services
