Once again, for those who have problems understanding what they read:

I was told that *my* name-calling/alleged harassment of other posters in
this newsgroup was the cause of the vile atmosphere in here. So, about a
month ago, I stopped that, and I haven't resumed.

My experiment, simply stated, was that I was not *the* cause, and that
other posters would continue their name calling, no matter what.

I was correct.

If you don't like my posts or if you have no way to comment on them as
an adult, you can always *not* comment.

Or, as you two have done, you can continue to engage in name calling.

The discussion has gotten a lot better without your nasty input, keep it
up. Folks are still calling you names and don names but both of you are
still trolling one way or another. Your whole hypothesis is flawed above
because without your more volotile posts, the whole dynamic of the group
(except for their treatment of you personally) *has* changed for the
better.... period. So, keep it up and stop crying about those who maybe
