northern 25
I'm not sure if anyone will get this note but I own a Northern 25 that used to be on Lake of the Woods. I wonder if this is the same Northern that you used to own Peter.

We sailed a northern 25 for eight years and loved it so much that we moved up to a northern 29 which we still have 14 years later. Dennis and Cynthia Furnis were wonderful builders who always were available to answer questions and give advice. They have not built boats for some years but may still live in the Ajax/Whitby area just east of Toronto. The northerns are strong, solid boats and the 25 had a good turn of speed that was competitive with the C&C 25. I believe the hull may have been a Rhodes design but I am not sure about that. In any event we certainly enjoyed our 25 and have many fond memories of sailing her on Lake of the Woods. Peter |
