Imagine Building a Boat 1600 feet Long

Currently under construction in Korea:

It will serve as a floating plant for collecting and liquifying
natural gas, thus avoiding the issues associated with building an
onshore facility.

Just the size of the shipyard cranes is staggering.

Considering that it may be subjected to typhoon force winds, and will
have pipes connected to underwater well heads, I wonder how they will
anchor it?

It'll probably be anchored similar to an offshore oil platform of think. With huge submersed pylons.

And when it blows up, it'll be the biggest non-nuclear manmade explosion
in history...

You think they'll go with the lowest priced bidder?

:)

I wonder how they are going to keep it from breaking in two if it
really gets pitching.

Methinks your computer clock is "broke in two." Check your posting dates
