A Failed Science Experiment
After careful observation I have concluded that trying to heat up cold
boiled eggs in a microwave oven is not a good idea. My wife agrees. Any suggestions? |

Are you trying to do this without peeling the egg? I'd cut the egg up a bit and just use the defrost cycle for about 15 seconds. You just need it warm, not hot. |

Damn thing exploded into tiny pieces at one end... made one hell of a mess. |

I think John's suggestion of cutting the eggs first has some merit, don't know why I didn't think of that before the massive explosion and ensuing clean up operation. Could'a should'a. :-) |

Hotel we stay at in Santa Monica says to not microwave the hard boiled peeled eggs. |
