Nice day at Santa Monica beach. 75+ calm seas, Dolphins just offshore.
Granddaughters having good time running in the surf. Hope you easterners
are not having to shovel much snow.

Winter seems determined to stay here. No snow today, but the morning
temps were at freezing and it is only 25F in the backyard right now.
Supposed to get up to the mid 40's tomorrow.

It may get down in the 40s here tonight but they are saying 80 by
Sunday.



We have our 8 year old granddaughter from Florida visiting this week.
Poor kid is freezing but she enjoyed the snow today.

We had a bit of wet snowy stuff come down Wednesday. All the dump
trucks were full of their mix and ready to go, but nothing stuck. In
the 30's now. Might go airplane flying tomorrow at dawn, if the wind
stays down.
