Si-Tex CVS-106 depthfinder loses returns

My CVS-106 loses depth returns after 1 to 3 hours of operation. All
other operation and video is normal. I was wondering if any other
CVS-106 owners have experienced like issues and whether the problem
was isolated to the transducer or display unit?
