I'll be sure to tell that to the three black homeowners in our
subdivision at the annual meeting of the association. Sadly, the black
family who lived diagonally across the street moved "uptown" to
Annapolis, another place out of reach for blacks. Sadly, because the
wife of the family was a Halle Berry look-alike, except younger and
prettier.
I don't think the issue was Halle Berry or Colin Powell.
99.9% of black families can't afford to live in the nicer suburbs.
DC is an exception, simply because of affirmative action in the
government, your biggest employer.
