Odd, this "bulk packed junk" says "Federal" on the brick box...

Yup. 333 or 555 packs? Lots of failure to fires reported. Check it out.
How much were they?

Don't really know till I go back and look, but unless they've changed their standards lately, I've shot a lot of Fedral with very little misfires

I bought a box of the "333" a few years ago. A number of them FTF in my
Ruger Mark III. I checked out a number of rimfire gun boards that had
long threads reporting problems with the ammo, FTF and misfires. I still
have at least 250 of the 333 left. Nowadays, I only use CCI mini-mags,
with not one FTF or misfire.

I've been well pleased with the S&B .357 MAG ammo I bought. The price on
that caliber is dropping, too.

I won't dispute it because I know different arms can handle various made rounds differently, but my Ruger mk2 handles Federals very well and has for probably over a thousand rounds over the years...

Actually I have to take a bit of that back. I did have some malfunctions but that was due to a worn out firing pin and a worn clip causing loading and misfiring. I can't say it was the ammo's fault though

I've shot a lot of Federal .38, .357, .45, and 9mm. Have never had misfire of any type. Maybe Harry
just has a bad pistol.

And one again you display your ignorance about firearms. We're talking
about the low-priced (well, it was in the good old days) bulk-boxed
Federal rimfire ammo, not centerfire ammo, and as I reported, a lot of
people have reported problems with pistols and the Federal "333" or
"555" bulk packs.

Ahh, JohnnyMop...if only you knew something...about anything.
