Silly boy, why would I want to suffer 15 minutes of commercials when I can just fast forward.
Try it, I'm sure you'll agree the rental of a digital recorder is worth the money.
BTW...we record all the series we favour for later playback.

Why call someone 'silly' and then post the same message twice?

Silly?

So, what's the first thing John the Racist does when he gets back home
from his latest Interstate Adventure? Why, he sees what sort of **** he
can stir up in rec.boats, of course.

So he says... I would be more convinced if he was not using every "boat
post" to troll the group. But either way, I am almost ready to start my
newest boat, just started buying wood last night. It's a 16 foot Whaler
in plywood, loosely designed to mimic a classic 13 foot Boston Whaler
Hull. Amazingly the hull will cost a dollar a pound and it will weigh
just about 500 pounds (plus tax...

Unlike my Camper design this hull is not dependent on the weight of the
wood so I will build it of exterior plywood and doug fir. It will be a
self jigging boat, if I was at my shop I could knock it off in a week...
but we will see how I do with the neighbors and how much flack I get
from the town...

A 16' plywood boat designed to mimic a classic 13' fiberglass boat.

And why would the town care if you attempt to build a small wood boat in
your backyard, unless you've been cited for the boat(s) you let rot in
your yard and become an eyesore.

Hey, when does W'hine come through Chesapeake Bay? I was down at
Chesapeake Beach about an hour ago, and caught a breeze coming off the
Bay that really smelled bad for a few seconds...might have been W'hine
passing by.
