Sweet looking rig, urban camo, USMC insignia on the side... I have pics on my phone, might post them later. |

You're projecting. I'm not the one shopping for and buying handguns about every few weeks...you are. And I don't pimp for gun stores or Walmart, as you do. I have one revolver and one semi-auto pistol I use, and a matching pair of revolvers that never leave the safe and were fired only at the factory to make sure they were functioning properly. I'm not in the market for any more handguns. I did see something funny on several internet ammo sites recently, stores selling CCI Mini Mags for $30 or more for a box of 100 rounds. I have 25 such boxes for which I paid about $5 to $6 each. I'll be delighted to sell you or any of the other right-wing trash here a couple of boxes for, oh, $50 each, plus shipping. :) I sold my supply of 9mm ammo to Greg months ago, but at a reasonable price. He's not right-wing trash. -- If right-wing assholes could fly, rec.boats would be an airport! |

Will fire a metallic "bullet" at extreme speeds. Problem over the years has been the guide rails. The projectile is so fast the rails wear out in a few shots. |

He probabl;y means a gun with the Picatinny Rail system. That is a universal mount for all sorts of optics, lasers and lights. OTOH a "rail gun" is a magnetic accelerator that can get something going real fast (like "launching into space" fast) I could agree with that but like DI told Bill, the "Rail gun" term was used way before the accessories were even thought of. |

Greg, I suppose it would be like dedicating "maw-deuce" as being a "chain gun" or a muzzle loader as a "smoke pole"

I have been around 1911s most of my life, civilian and military. I never heard it called a rail gun. Most of the time it was just "45" or "1911" Did they have a Picattiny rail for mounting accessories? Yes. You need to get the bayonet, http://www.laserlyte.com/collections/pistol-bayonet, it is the perfect option. That might make it hard to holster! |
