Next question...which version to get. Any suggestions out there? Amazon carries a pot full.

With a quick look and I say *a quick look* and *it's my opinion*, that
the "Premium" version really takes care of everything I need and I think
I do more than you on the machine. Unless you need "XP Mode" available
in "Professional" it's "MY OPINION" and only my opinion based on *what I
believe to be your computer use based on the information I have
available here from you over the years* that Premium would serve your
needs, and the "Enterprise" version is beyond "what I presume to be your
needs"....

I do thank you, sir. Looks like Windows 7 Home Premium it is.

You've been a big help.

Just to be safe, you better wait for Harry to offer his 2 cents worth.

More than likely "Home" or "Premium". If you can't tell the difference,
it probably doesn't matter to you anyway

Tim. Somewhere on your desktop (usually the opening page when you start
up) there will be an icon labeled "computer" or "my computer". Using
your mouse right click on that icon and then left click on the
"properties" menu item that drops down. It will tell you what version of
7 you have.
