Interesting New Stop Leak Product
Just ordered two packages of this for my damage control kit. It's
available from West Marine and Jamestown Distributors although JD seems to have the better deal. The video is impressive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=888wQhRcmjQ http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=63791 |

I'd definitely be carrying a few containers of that stuff. It does resemble the stuff that comes out of restaurant grease traps though. |

We had a bunch of rain yesterday and my boat which has aluminum walls on top of plywood floor. The floor has developed a very slight droop allowing a small gap where water came in, (all above the water line) I going to do a temporary repair, before making a slight addition to the boat in addition to this repair. This stuff got me wondering. First is this stuff greasy? If I use 5200 for the permanant repair will it cause the 5200 to not stick? That in mind I stopped into West today to investigate. The stuff reminds me a whole like the wax gasket you use when seating a toilet on the flange. I think, I'll buy a couple of toilet gaskets and slather it on to make a temporary repair to keep the rain out. Probably 1/10 the cost. Mikek |

Mikek Just buy a pack of JuicyFruit gum, chew it, and use it to patch your leaks. You'll save lots of $$$. |

Recycling is good, But I don't think the gum would stick well, and my jaw muscle would get tired. Mikek --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
