Drone down?

A Russian manufacturer of high tech gear is claiming to had intercepted
the control link to a US drone that was flying over Russian held Crimea
in Ukraine and brought it down. No news yet from our government or even
on the media circuits.

That's terrible. I assume the drone's family has been informed and the
drone's distant pilot is receiving therapy.

Well, Mr. Realist, here's what *this* fellow realist thinks:

I think the ACA bill was railroaded into law under devious and sneaky,
behind the scenes deal-making (among fellow Democrats) by then Speaker
of the House Nancy Pelosi and Harry "Dead on Arrival" Reid. Pelosi's
infamous, "you have to pass it to see what is in it" has gone down as a
classic political statement. The GOP were and are obstructionists, but
the Dems are sleazy and sneaky. Even now whenever I see either of
them being interviewed they make me shutter and want to take a shower.

With that and a token you take the bus.

But, you are right. It was passed and made law in accordance with our
Constitutional process. But now, the POTUS has taken it upon himself to
determine what parts of the law-of-the-land shall be implemented, what
parts will be delayed or put on hold, all by executive order which, to
some legal beagles, is totally unconstitutional. I am not complaining
about the website fiasco. That's understandable given the time frame
the law was rushed into force.

So, Mr. Realist, is that something you just shrug your shoulders about
and say, "oh, well"?

I told you already.
If the President is doing something unconstitutional, then the Congress
should use constitutional means of redress.
The Congress is full of "legal beagles.'
Sounds like sour grapes to me, and it doesn't make good whine.

It ****es me off and it's ****ing a lot of people off. It's ****ing
enough people off that even Democrats are joining the bandwagon and
getting ****ed off. Or, at least acting like they are ****ed off.

What a joke, Mr. Realist. I think if enough people get ****ed off we'll
eventually see the repeal of the ACA. May not happen soon but as
reality sets in and the ramifications of the law become clearer and well
known, I think there's a real chance it will be repealed.

Right. You know the "ramifications" of the law.
Last polling I saw, only 38% wanted it repealed.
More than 50% want it changed, including some who want it expanded
More than 50% want the R's to stop whining about repealing it.
I'm not among them - I'm a realist.
What is now, 50 or 51 times they passed "repeals" that went nowhere?
They can shoot for 299 times if they like.
They're a joke.

Let's see what the elections in November brings. If I am wrong I'll
humbly apologize for being ****ed off.

Whatever happens in the elections won't matter to the ACA.
Besides, I don't care if you're ****ed off.
Doesn't bother me.
