Hillary is walking back that statement.

Not really. She just sanitized it a bit and left out the name "Hitler".

"I just want people to have a little historic perspective," Clinton said during a question-and-answer session at UCLA. "I'm not making a comparison certainly, but I am recommending that we perhaps can learn from this tactic that has been used before."

It sounded to me like a comparison!

In her first recorded comments she said, "That's what Hitler did in the
late 1930's"

In her sanitized revision the next day she left out "Hitler" and just
said, "It is reminiscent".

Cagey people, those politicians.

I'm thinking it may come back to haunt her a bit.

If we use the Hitler comparison every time countries, including the
US, did some kind of military incursion or occupation to protect their
national interest, we will end up minimizing what the Nazis really
represent.

Of course a picture is worth 1000 words

Apples and oranges.. the pics on the left are of a prison state trying
to keep people in... the ones on the right, are a defensive zone...
trying to keep bombers out..
