Now you're trying to convince me you weren't talking about BMX bicycles. Now I'm beginning to see why you find it necessary to add an 'ny' or 'ie' to peoples names. A bit babyish, but kinda cute in its way. Perhaps there will be a sport that involves buying one gun after another via mail order and never finding the one that's suitable. Uh, FOAD, I think you've proven you've had or have many more guns than I can dream of. It's hard to keep it all straight, eh? I don't buy them the way you do, via mail order without handling/shooting an identical or very similar model first to make sure it is suitable for my intended purpose. You should really go to Sharpshooters and see the collection of guns for 'rent' at $10/hour, or longer if you wish. In the meantime, try getting your stories straight. |

The vertically challenged guy from CT was suggesting freestyle motocross. I haven't watched Olympic sports in many years, but I seem to recall a couple of events for pedal-powered bicycles. That seems appropriate for the Olympics, but I'm pretty certain there is no place in the Olympics for engine-powered sports, and there shouldn't be. It's a shame that you find no sports interesting to watch. I'd think you'd find curling fairly entertaining. No pushing or shoving, no fouls, no exertion, no nasty sweating, all the strategy of pocket pool, and, according to your bud, extremely exciting. But, given the pride you show for your country, I can understand you not rooting for the 'home team' in any of these sports. It's rather neat that Norway is at the top of the medal count. You're making **** up again. I never said I find "no sports interesting to watch." I'm proud of my country when it or its inhabitants have accomplishments in which it is worthy to take pride. Sending the troops in to provide disaster relief puts a big smile on my face. So does an American winning a Nobel for medicine, science, literature, peace. Olympic victories in which professional, paid athletes compete in activities that once were appropriate only for amateurs does little for me. Yup, that Nobel won by your boy was quite meaningful, eh? He showed the worth of the Nobel Peace Prize, eh? I'm sure the smile is still there. |

I'm not the one who ordered a pistol after you were advised the trigger mechanism sucked and then sold or returned the pistol because you didn't like the trigger mechanism. You are. |

No one with any credibility advised me about a trigger mechanism. And, I'm still behind in the claimed weapons ownership and ammunition department. Oh, and not to mention the concealed carry permit department. Damn, three of them? Wow, must have been some incrimination documents. |

Just over and was tight until Sweden made one mistake in the 9th end, allowing Canada to earn a commanding lead. I have a feeling the ice hockey game at noon will be a tad more exciting. But, congratulations to the Canadians for the gold in women's curling! I'm wondering when they'll have 'Senior Women's Shuffleboard' as an Olympic event. Curling is a participation sport Poco. You have to play it to understand it. You know it wouldn't be there if it wasn't worthy and you have to admit that watching a baseball game can sometimes be as exciting as watching paint dry. Unless you are watching from the playing field. LdB |

Besides, it's a sociable way of pulling Don's chain! |
