Horses in the hood
Took the dog out for his walk at about 1430 hrs and noticed two horses on the next street over from me.
It was the small mounted division of our local police. I walked down to check them out but as soon as my Springer Spaniel saw them, he started barking loudly. I backtracked up the street and turned the corner to keep the dog from seeing them but I turned around and found that they were following us. Police lady was very nice and we had a small conversation which was drowned out by the dogs barking. Too bad, it would gave been nice to get a bit closer to the beautiful animals. BTW horses were unfazed by all the racket. |
