Just the thing for that Hackintosh you're going to build with the used 8080 CPU you found at the site of a burned-out Radio Shack and the 150 bps modem you scored on ebay, eh? Except you'd be too late... Already sold it on an Apple board. I understand you are willing to pay double for anything has a picture of an apple with a bite out of it but the real bite comes out of your wallet. Memory chips are commodities and Apple's commie slaves are not any better than anyone else's commie slaves. So, I take it, you are not going to build a computer from spare and old and damaged parts and install the latest Apple OS on it? -- There’s no point crying over spilled 4-Methylcyclohexanemethanol. |

So, I take it, you are not going to build a computer from spare and old and damaged parts and install the latest Apple OS on it? And you are not going to acknowledge that the Apple parts are well over twice what they should cost. No the home built was just a question, not a plan. I am not really building much from scratch these days because the factory built machines are a glut on the market because of all of the people fascinated with the newest thing, even if there is no real improvement. I know lots of people who buy a new machine, just because they have a virus on theirs. Some apple parts are overpriced. I priced out a top of the line HP all in one the other day, and it came to about $150 less than I paid for my new iMac, and it had a (relatively) inferior monitor, graphics card, and slightly slower CPU, and it didn't include Applecare. |
