Money is no object if you are a class III enthusiast.
They will end up shooting a lot more money at the plane than the plane
costs.
My machine gun buddy in Md used to joke that short bursts sounded like
"five dollars" ... "Five dollars" ... "eleven dollars and fifty
cents". That MG42 will shoot more than that and the M2 is just crazy
expensive. I misspoke the other day. .50 cal is more like 4 bucks a
shot. ... at 450 to 600 rounds a minute depending on how it is set up.

I can't believe how much money is going downrange there.
