Seen the condition of shipped guitars and have watched them deliver packages to the house when they think no one is home. The last one delivered a package from Amazon. I happened to be upstairs watching through a window. He got 15 feet from our front porch and then just tossed it up onto the porch. I tried to get downstairs and out the door to catch him but it was too late. He had booked it down the driveway and onto the road. I think FedEx is now structured as a franchise type operation. Those who deliver "buy" a route. I think they also either buy or lease the delivery truck. UPS and USPS is better than FedEx IMO and experience of shipping over 100 fragile guitars all over the country in the past 4-5 years. |

The buyer is paying for the shipping, and sent me a prepaid FEDEX label. I far prefer UPS for these sort of packages, but, I'm not paying for it. All the macs I've bought over the years have arrived via FEDEX from overseas, and all arrived in good condition. Which does not refute your experiences, of course. I have the original box in which the iMac was packed, with its hard foam inserts, and the outside shipping box, too. It's important to keep these. |

Plus, maybe you should do more research before buying a PC. Then you do not have to change every year. |
